Architectural award winner
Project Air Conditioning was engaged by the Maxim Construction Group to provide a design and construct air conditioning solution to this award winning building in Belmont.
Managing directors Paul and Alice Stubber thanked Project Air Conditioning for their dedication to a quality product and graciously thanked the quality of our fine tradespeople, commenting how lucky they have been to be associated with Project Air Conditioning and its people.
We have been very lucky over the years to be associated with many fine tradespeople like you and this development is the pinnacle of what we all have achieved. This award is as much your award as it is ours and we thank you very much for your dedication to a quality product.
Their onsite management and installation staffs in particular have impressed me with their caring attitude and response to the schools operational requirements while always delivering the installation to a high standard with minimal defects or ongoing issues upon completion. I have no hesitation in referring Project Air Conditioning to other clients and in fact have done so on a number of occasions following my dealings with them in the DET State Air Cooling projects.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the work Project Air Conditioning Qld has carried out on behalf of Isis at the Pier Shopping Centre site. You and your staff have conducted yourselves professionally throughout the entire project and the finished product speaks for itself, a job well done.
Energy saving systems retrofitted to iconic St. Georges Terrace landmark.
Project Air Conditioning has served the Priolo Corporation for many years. Their building at 101 St Georges Terrace is the flagship in the corporation's property portfolio. The iconic and heritage listed building was in need of a major upgrade which included a comprehensive revamp of the air conditioning.
Project Air Conditioning engineering team designed a multi floor solution and installed VRF equipment to the entire building. The team worked closely with the owners to ensure heritage values were maintained as the new systems were being installed.
Project Air Conditioning has become a major business partner with Priolo Corporation over the past several years. They are our preferred air conditioning service provider. Our relationship with Project Air Conditioning is a valued one.
Thank you for your highly efficient and very attentive service in your job recently performed for me. It was a pleasure having a trade perform above expectations and even better during the peak times of summer when demand is high. A hearty thank you once again.
I would like to personally thank the efforts of Project Air for your work on the recent APC installation projects in Port Moresby. Your workers Pete, Bruce and Nathan all not only proved their determined and effective work ethic, but also demonstrated strong interests in learning the APC systems. It was refreshing to be met with such professional and friendly manner, along with an eager willingness to seek, absorb and efficiently carry out instruction.
Out with the old and in with the new
Project Air Conditioning has commenced the progressive upgrade of air conditioning at this 1970's West Perth office block.
Toshiba VRF was propsed to the building owners as an energy efficient solution to supply year round comfort to the various tenancies on each of the three floors.
Tenancies will be fully occupied during both the retrofit and change over phases and meticulous project management planning has been implemented to minimise disruption to the office personnel.
I have found Project Air Conditioning to be a competent contractor in their service delivery. Moreover the rate of our equipment breakdown has reduced significantly.
I would not have anyone other than Project Air Conditioning install or maintain air conditioning at my properties.
We are very happy to recommend Project air as we have had nothing but great service and back up at all times.
I wish to express my appreciation for the installation of the split cassette-air conditioning unit fitted to our Executive Boardroom. Please also extend this to your employees who I have found very professional and carried out all their work to a high standard. I would not hesitate on calling upon you for similar projects.
Dumas House is a fourteen storey office building constructed in Perth during the 1960s. The building is located close to St Georges Terrace, Kings Park and Parliament House. Dumas House was part of the 1955 plan to centralise all WA Government departments near Parliament House.
Today the buidling is occupied by various private and public sector tenants. Project Air Conditioning has been involved in air conditioning refurbishment projects at various times as tenancy changes have been made over the years.
They are always on time which is invaluable to a Builder. Project Air Conditioning's commitment to customer service is genuine and professional. I am delighted to recommend Project air Conditioning to anyone who requires a great team of people to get an air conditioning job done on time, on budget and of the highest standard.
The company’s engineering capabilities of selecting appropriate equipment and designing ducted systems along with their competency to install and commission equipment has fully satisfied myself and Mirvac.
I have always been very impressed with the manner in which Project Air Conditioning deliver their services. During my association with the company they were very competitive, always innovative, ensuring our clients received value for money air conditioning systems and highly competent with their workmanship.
Brenton Siviour of international accounting firm McKessar Tieleman has been working with the World Bank to help small businesses in China to improve their marketing, financial and management systems and, following from that, their profits. The aim is to alleviate poverty by building small to medium business enterprises (SME). This will create employment, which leads to the creation of wealth.
The recent admission of China to the World Trade Organisation has exposed Chinese businesses to increased competition. Those businesses now say we need to know about world's best practice." Australia leads the world in business and entrepreneurial skills, so it was no surprise when the bank came to look for expertise. Mr Siviour began consulting with small businesses to improve their efficiency in 1996 with his own company, Siviour Corporate. He has continued this work for McKessar Tieleman following the merger of the companies in February 2000.
In June 2001, the World Bank invited McKessar Tieleman to analyse the needs of businesses in Sichuan Province, China. This led to Mr Siviour becoming involved in a pilot project, starting in April 2002, to help five companies develop their systems to world standards.
Consultants would be trained by McKessar Tieleman to go to Chinese companies and pass on the knowledge they had gained. This is both cost effective and has the added benefit that, while few of the Chinese business people needing help have any knowledge of English, the trainee consultants are fluent English speakers.
Project Air Conditioning was invited to be a case study for the trainee consultants on the basis of Mr Siviour's prior knowledge of the company. Mr Siviour explains: "Project Air Conditioning has perfected its customer service strategy. "Not only are they skilled in the technical aspects of air conditioning design and Installation but the way in which they perform their service.
"In my experience of studying and working with SME's in Australia and abroad, Project Air Conditioning's business processes and systems is an exemplary model of the methods required of organisations to effectively serve markets and sustain employment.
Thanks to management and staff at Project Air Conditioning for their valuable contribution and the unprecedented access the company gave the Chinese delegation from the World Bank.
Project Air Conditioning was invited to be a case study for the trainee consultants from the Peoples of Republic of China on the basis of my prior knowledge of the company. Project Air Conditioning has perfected its customer service strategy. Not only are they skilled in the technical aspects of air conditioning design and Installation but the way in which they perform their service. In my experience of studying and working with SME's in Australia and abroad, Project Air Conditioning's business processes and systems is an exemplary model of the methods required of organisations to effectively serve markets and sustain employment.
Hi Steve The aircon is great, moreover David was fantastic mate, very professional and friendly, a real asset to the business.
Climate control changes at the Pier
The Pier shopping and leisure complex is located overlooking Trinity Bay and the Marlin Marina, next to the Esplanade. It is a short walk to the International Reef Fleet Terminal. The Pier is unlike any other shopping centre in Cairns offering a great mix of designer fashion brands and local labels, boutique beauty services, art galleries and specialty shops, bars, entertainment and waterfront dining.
Some major refurbishment works have concluded with Project Air Conditioning managing all aspects of air conditioning retrofits in various tenancies.
As a builder involved in commercial development projects the air conditioning and mechanical component can be quite significant. Timelines have to be met for all trades and I have found Project Air Conditioning to be exceptionally cooperative and responsive in their attitude towards getting the job done.
I have been very impressed with Project Air Conditioning. They have recently installed air conditioning at my premises and I cannot speak more highly of their capabilities. I would recommend Project Air Conditioning to anyone looking for high quality equipment and high calibre engineering and tradespeople.
They have a very good reputation within the industry & I’m pleased that our company has been able to build an excellent working relationship in order to serve the various markets which Project Air Conditioning are involved in. They are a team of true professionals.
Project Air Conditioning was asked to carry out a mechanical services project for the Pan Pacific Hotel in Perth. Calorex heat pumps were installed. The existing space heating and hot water boiler system was well past its prime and needed to be replaced by new energy efficient technology. Occupied buildings present many challenges when retrofitting mechanical equipment and particularly so in multi story situations. However our trades people installed the heat recovery equipment and managed all the logistics associated when working in a fully occupied international hotel.
I cannot speak more highly of this company. From the word go, Project Air Conditioning took control of what was always going to be a challenging project and transformed the space heating and potable hot water infrastructure into an integrated effective and efficient system through their excellent installation techniques and high quality workmanship.
Spotless are a national company offering infrastructure and facility management to the private and public sectors. Project Air Conditioning is a registered preferred contractor with Spotless and has demonstrated over an extended period strong organisational competency in its service provision to Spotless. I also acknowledge their commitment to occupational health and safety.
In consideration of difficulties faced in the installation, such as restricted access to work spaces, areas heavily congested with existing services and requirements for substantial builder’s works, Project Air’s efforts are commendable.
Riseley Street Applecross
In typical Manor Homes style this Applecross building has all the hallmarks of a Tuscan villa. The facade belies its purpose.
Project Air Conditioning has been supporting mechanical service provisions for the innovative Manor Home Builders for more than 20 years.
This commercial multi tenancy is a showpiece of commercial development amongst the tranquil backdrop of leafy Applecross.
DP World is a leader in international marine terminal operations and development, logistics and related services. One of it's Australian operations is located at Fremantle on the mouth of the Swan River.
Project Air Conditioning has provided support service to its large operations by maintaining the air conditioning plant at the site including the overhead cranes. The company has also supplied and installed air conditioning equipment when new requirements have arisen.
The eclectic precinct for an array of professional services
The tree lined streets of West Perth has an eclectic mix of buildings from all eras of the districts history. Fifty metres up the street from the Western Australian State Parliament this building at number 36 Parliament Place has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment.
Project Air Conditioning designed, supplied and installed Hitachi ducted systems to the property which is currently occupied by Western Diagnostics.
Beachside retail between Cairns and Port Douglas
Clifton Village is a beachside neighbourhood retail centre anchored by Coles Supermarket. The centre was expanded in 2011 to accommodate a Country Target further broadening the appeal of the centre. With nearly 8000 square metres of retail space and located just off the Captain Cook Highway between Cairns and Port Douglas the centre has a wide variety of choice with over 25 specialty retailers including CBA, Australia Post and an open coffee house in Centre Court.
Clifton Village also has 9 additional tenancies in 2 pad sites which include a service station. Project Air Conditioning has for some time now managed and maintained the sites air conditioning systems which includes re-works or new system installations in the event of tenancy changes or building refurbishment and additions.
Project Air Conditioning serving the regions as well as the cities
Although located in Perth and Cairns, the Project Air Conditioning management team has always held the view that if their clients wanted them to travel outside their home bases to carry out design and installation work for them they would be prepared to do so.
Recently Project Air Conditioning has been working as far and wide as Melbourne, Brisbane, Townsville, Karratha and Port Hedland. The company is about to mobilise part of its engineering and trades team to Papua New Guinea.
The Harris Scarfe department store at Bunbury is one such early example in Project Air Conditioning history of the flexibility and mobility of its skilled workforce to serve regional areas.
The Shangri-La Hotel is a 5 star international resort hotel overlooking the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland. The hotel is a tropical haven for guests who come from all parts of the world to see the wonders the region has to offer. The comfort of the guests is paramount to a successful leisure business.
The continuous performance of the air conditioning and refrigeration is essential. Some years ago the hotel chose Project Air Conditioning to facilitate all aspects of the mechanical equipment routine maintenance and mechanical refurbishment work. The refurbishment work being undertaken by Project Air Conditioning is a progressive upgrade of chilled water air handling units throughout the resort. In recent times the work at the hotel has included the removal and installation of large capacity air handling units.
We submitted a proposal to replace the old units with a more efficient system. We assembled the units onsite and transited the parts up 3 floors in the hotel to the plant room. The process required the Chilled water lines to be frozen whilst we removed and installed the new units and pipe work. All units are now in service and operating correctly. In addition to the air conditioning, Project Air Conditioning delivers a round the clock breakdown alert of all the hotels cool rooms, freezers, ice machines and other refrigeration equipment.
Group resources combine for Zoo administration air conditioning upgrade
Combining group resources the Queensland arm of the Project Air Conditioning group of companies has completed the upgrade of air conditioning in the administration facility at Perth Zoo. Toshiba VRF equipment specifications, project logistics and safety management plans were submitted to the Zoological Parks Authority. Project Air Conditioning then successfully carried out the works by removing the worn out equipment and replaced it with the latest in air conditioning technology.
Tiles Expo Boutique supplies some of the highest quality marble and floor tile products in Australia. Their modern Osborne Park oulet displays a comprehensive range of flooring options. To ensure comfort for their staff and discerning clients they provided a brief to Project Air Conditioning as to what they wanted to achieve with regard to air conditioning the building.
Air Conditioning systems had not been installed during construction of the building and therefore Project Air Conditioning was asked to design a system and retrofit equipment and integrate it with the existing structure and internal fit out. Toshiba ducted equipment was chosen and installed and resulted in a satisfactory outcome for Tiles Expo Boutique.
My immediate and extended family have had many years of dealings with Project Air Conditioning. Whenever we've had an air conditioning requirement either in homes that we have built or our business premises, we have always called in Project Air Conditioning to find a solution and install the equipment they have recommended. At Tiles Expo your Tile Boutique Dealer we are in the building products and service industry and generally can determine reliable companies. Through my experience I have found Project Air Conditioning to be extremely professional and competitive.
Ellenbrook Retirement Village (Stage 7) Thank you for your contribution in making this project a success.
Service is very important to me, as is receiving good advice, so when it came to having my new air conditioning system installed, it was without hesitation that I engaged Project Air Conditioning to install a ducted air conditioning system into my home.
Civil Aviation Authority refurbisment project
Cairns builder, Osborne Constructions has carried out a major refurbishment project at Cairns Airport for CASA.
Project Air Conditioning was engaged to carry out all mechanical functions.
The energy efficient Toshiba VRF equipment was installed throughout the complex which included BMS system upgrade, VAV terminals to existing duct for better zoning and temperature control of this vital multi-compartment infrastructure site.
Project Air Conditioning has a long standing professional relationship with the owner of this high profile commercial building at Osborne Park. The owner was negotiating with some new tennants who had some specific requirements for air conditioning.
We were asked to engineer a ducted air conditioning solution to meet the business operation demands of the tenants. After consultation we designed a system using a series of Hitachi inverter ducted units to cope with the variance in building heat load. Some caution has to be excercised when designing and installing air conditioning to western facing buildings, particularly where external shade is limited. This we did and the result was most satisfactory to the owner and tenant.
Innovative plastics supplier has VRF air conditioning system installed
A Toshiba VRF air conditioning system has been installed in the Plastic Display People's office and showroom facility at Osborne Park.
The Plastic Display People manufacture a wide range of acrylic, polycarbonate and perspex display products.
Project air conditioning worked in harmony with the owner who carried out the vast majority of the construction and fit out of the new building. One of the Project Air Conditioning group's offices is also located at Osborne Park which made the job all the more enjoyable to work closely with a business neighbour.
