Project Air Conditioning was asked to carry out a mechanical services project for the Pan Pacific Hotel in Perth. Calorex heat pumps were installed. The existing space heating and hot water boiler system was well past its prime and needed to be replaced by new energy efficient technology. Occupied buildings present many challenges when retrofitting mechanical equipment and particularly so in multi story situations. However our trades people installed the heat recovery equipment and managed all the logistics associated when working in a fully occupied international hotel.
Energy saving systems retrofitted to iconic St. Georges Terrace landmark.
Project Air Conditioning has served the Priolo Corporation for many years. Their building at 101 St Georges Terrace is the flagship in the corporation's property portfolio. The iconic and heritage listed building was in need of a major upgrade which included a comprehensive revamp of the air conditioning.
Project Air Conditioning engineering team designed a multi floor solution and installed VRF equipment to the entire building. The team worked closely with the owners to ensure heritage values were maintained as the new systems were being installed.
Logistics challenge at council chamber offices
Major mechanical work has been completed at the Town of Cambridge offices in Floreat. Project Air Conditioning was engaged by the council to progressively de-commission the chilled water air conditioning system while at the same time install the new energy saving Toshiba VRF air conditioning equipment to the building. This fully occupied and busy local government facility is the seat of administration for the inner west and some coastal districts of Perth. The work was carried out over several months and a challenging but successful outcome was achieved as the Project Air Conditioning tradespeople worked carefully and diligently amongst the busy council personnel. Daily tool box meetings were carried out with all trade and technical staff fully aware of their responsibilities in their designated areas of work.
I cannot speak more highly of this company. From the word go, Project Air Conditioning took control of what was always going to be a challenging project and transformed the space heating and potable hot water infrastructure into an integrated effective and efficient system through their excellent installation techniques and high quality workmanship.
I wish to express my appreciation for the installation of the split cassette-air conditioning unit fitted to our Executive Boardroom. Please also extend this to your employees who I have found very professional and carried out all their work to a high standard. I would not hesitate on calling upon you for similar projects.
Project Air Conditioning has become a major business partner with Priolo Corporation over the past several years. They are our preferred air conditioning service provider. Our relationship with Project Air Conditioning is a valued one.
Methodist Ladies College is located in the Perth suburb of Claremont. The school is a prominent landmark sitting high on the banks of the Swan River. The school has been a leader in educating girls and young women for over 100 years. MLC has undergone significant building programmes in recent years which included a new middle school along with a gymnasium.
Air conditioning has also been a high priority for the school. Project Air Conditioning was selected to provide its design and construct expertise along with its installation knowledge and skills. Air conditioning was barely invented and not considered when the original buildings were constructed and Project Air Conditioning delivered a number of innovative and energy efficient solutions to ensure the equipment did not intrude on the heritage importance of this historic site.
Luxury living on the Swan River
Mirvac has left a distinct impression near the banks of the Swan River near Perth. The Burswood residential estate is a multi stage development in which Project Air Conditioning played an instrumental consulting and contracting role with supply and installation of air conditioning and mechanical exhaust systems to the vast majority of the properties. The project ran for over 3 years and is a showpiece for inner city living.
Architectural award winner
Project Air Conditioning was engaged by the Maxim Construction Group to provide a design and construct air conditioning solution to this award winning building in Belmont.
Managing directors Paul and Alice Stubber thanked Project Air Conditioning for their dedication to a quality product and graciously thanked the quality of our fine tradespeople, commenting how lucky they have been to be associated with Project Air Conditioning and its people.
I write to commend you and your Project Air team. My tour of the Boarding House revealed fine workmanship; the modern addition to our heritage building is unobtrusive yet overwhelmingly positive for our girls and their families. The team's care on site to maintain the integrity of the building, meet all requests with a gracious response, ensure daily cleaning and deliver on time was impressive.
The company’s engineering capabilities of selecting appropriate equipment and designing ducted systems along with their competency to install and commission equipment has fully satisfied myself and Mirvac.
We have been very lucky over the years to be associated with many fine tradespeople like you and this development is the pinnacle of what we all have achieved. This award is as much your award as it is ours and we thank you very much for your dedication to a quality product.
Riseley Street Applecross
In typical Manor Homes style this Applecross building has all the hallmarks of a Tuscan villa. The facade belies its purpose.
Project Air Conditioning has been supporting mechanical service provisions for the innovative Manor Home Builders for more than 20 years.
This commercial multi tenancy is a showpiece of commercial development amongst the tranquil backdrop of leafy Applecross.
Indoor ambience and comfort
The Botanica is an impressive and relaxing meeting place for people in the heart of the bustling commercial hub on Scarborough Beach Road at Innaloo.
Project Air Conditioning carrried out a full design and construct for the developers of the Botanica which included a significant part of the adjoining tenancies of this substantial leisure and retail site. The air conditioning included Toshiba VRF equipment in various sections along with ducted evaporative cooling systems in others.
Urban craftsmanship from a bygone era
Sacred Heart Primary School is a Catholic, co-educational parish school comprised of 240 students from Pre Kindergarten to Year 6. The convent and school buildings are listed on the State Register of Heritage Places.
Renovations were carried out in the early 2000's to bring the school facilities to what are now enjoyed by the school community. The school leaders consulted with Project Air Conditioning to bring about an air conditioning solution to a number of buildings that were never designed for such modern day intrusion.
Project Air Conditioning carefully planned equipment selections and went on to install the systems in a manner that is unobtrusive among the magnificence of the Sacred Hearts site.
Group resources combine for Zoo administration air conditioning upgrade
Combining group resources the Queensland arm of the Project Air Conditioning group of companies has completed the upgrade of air conditioning in the administration facility at Perth Zoo. Toshiba VRF equipment specifications, project logistics and safety management plans were submitted to the Zoological Parks Authority. Project Air Conditioning then successfully carried out the works by removing the worn out equipment and replaced it with the latest in air conditioning technology.
Thank you for your highly efficient and very attentive service in your job recently performed for me. It was a pleasure having a trade perform above expectations and even better during the peak times of summer when demand is high. A hearty thank you once again.
I have found Project Air Conditioning to be a competent contractor in their service delivery. Moreover the rate of our equipment breakdown has reduced significantly.
I have no hesitation in recommending Project Air Conditioning. Their initial advice to us with regard system selection was sound and as a result we have a very discrete system, which as an interior designer, I was looking for a finish that was aesthetically pleasing.
Out with the old and in with the new
Project Air Conditioning has commenced the progressive upgrade of air conditioning at this 1970's West Perth office block.
Toshiba VRF was propsed to the building owners as an energy efficient solution to supply year round comfort to the various tenancies on each of the three floors.
Tenancies will be fully occupied during both the retrofit and change over phases and meticulous project management planning has been implemented to minimise disruption to the office personnel.

Hale School has embarked on a comprehensive building programme to ensure it's education objectives are achieved.
It is generally agreed among academics that a comfortable temperature controlled environment is more conducive to quality learning. This is particularly so if classrooms are air conditioned.
Project Air Conditioning has completed the consultancy phase with the Hale School leadership team followed by design, supply and installation of Toshiba SMMS VRF technology at this famous Perth school.
Their onsite management and installation staffs in particular have impressed me with their caring attitude and response to the schools operational requirements while always delivering the installation to a high standard with minimal defects or ongoing issues upon completion. I have no hesitation in referring Project Air Conditioning to other clients and in fact have done so on a number of occasions following my dealings with them in the DET State Air Cooling projects.
I have worked collaboritevley with Project Air Conditioning’s design personnel for many years now. Our association in fact goes back to 1991. I have always found them to be sympathetic to my house designs and their capabilities to design air conditioning systems to meet my client’s requirements have been most satisfactory. Their trades’ people also have a keen sense of quality and therefore the workmanship has been excellent.
In consideration of difficulties faced in the installation, such as restricted access to work spaces, areas heavily congested with existing services and requirements for substantial builder’s works, Project Air’s efforts are commendable.
Project Air Conditioning has created a discrete system design and construct for a luxury Dalkeith mansion. Linear slot and bar grille air diffusion equipment was carefully selected to blend into the high quality crafted interior fit out.

Brenton Siviour of international accounting firm McKessar Tieleman has been working with the World Bank to help small businesses in China to improve their marketing, financial and management systems and, following from that, their profits. The aim is to alleviate poverty by building small to medium business enterprises (SME). This will create employment, which leads to the creation of wealth.
The recent admission of China to the World Trade Organisation has exposed Chinese businesses to increased competition. Those businesses now say we need to know about world's best practice." Australia leads the world in business and entrepreneurial skills, so it was no surprise when the bank came to look for expertise. Mr Siviour began consulting with small businesses to improve their efficiency in 1996 with his own company, Siviour Corporate. He has continued this work for McKessar Tieleman following the merger of the companies in February 2000.
In June 2001, the World Bank invited McKessar Tieleman to analyse the needs of businesses in Sichuan Province, China. This led to Mr Siviour becoming involved in a pilot project, starting in April 2002, to help five companies develop their systems to world standards.
Consultants would be trained by McKessar Tieleman to go to Chinese companies and pass on the knowledge they had gained. This is both cost effective and has the added benefit that, while few of the Chinese business people needing help have any knowledge of English, the trainee consultants are fluent English speakers.
Project Air Conditioning was invited to be a case study for the trainee consultants on the basis of Mr Siviour's prior knowledge of the company. Mr Siviour explains: "Project Air Conditioning has perfected its customer service strategy. "Not only are they skilled in the technical aspects of air conditioning design and Installation but the way in which they perform their service.
"In my experience of studying and working with SME's in Australia and abroad, Project Air Conditioning's business processes and systems is an exemplary model of the methods required of organisations to effectively serve markets and sustain employment.
